Discovering Tantra and Myself at InanItah
January 10, 2011 - 12:57pm — Flowingrace
Wrapping my arms around myself I now see a new vision of Tantra and myself by immersing into a journey of self discovery. At the InanItah Eco Villiage in Nicaragua I am learning to be in love with myself, my body, my mind and spirit. We are using the body as a touch point to build intimacy first with ourselves, then others. My journey has just begun, please join me on this adventure as I explore into the dark and the light in this several part series blog. And if you are spontaneous, jump on a plane and join us. www.inanitah.com
It's Never Too Late
June 30, 2010 - 7:22pm — Sneaky Deep Bod...
By Susan Strasburger
At 18, I had decided "it's too late now to be a dancer," since I had declined Pittsburgh Ballet Theater and decided to go to Yale University instead. (You can't say no to Yale, can you?!)

Moving With
May 20, 2010 - 4:13pm — Sneaky Deep Bod...
by Phil Porter
I was lucky to have found my way into modern dance classes at Macalester College (in St. Paul), Indiana University and the University of California at Berkeley. While concentrating primarily on studying other things, I also got some really good dance training, which ultimately had as much of an effect on my life as some of my “majors.”
REVIEW: Outersect CD release party at the Sweets Ballroom Ecstatic Dance
March 12, 2010 - 9:08pm — em-dash
Outersect is one of those bands that consists of a guy and a laptop, with some didgeridoo on the side... Played almost all his own music from what I understand, and filled the room with a nice fluid aesthetic throughout the night... Some surprising flavors thrown in, and all-in-all nice soundtrack to boogie, yet smooth enough for some contact... Sounds of today!
BOOK REVIEW - Aerial Dance
Why is it that dancers insist on improvising movement, exploring space, and defying gravity?
