Body, Mind, Heart, and Spirit! InterPlay is being applied by helping professionals for self-care, supervision, and with clients. During this SymPLAYsium we will play together, learn from each other’s wisdom, and build a community of support for those interested in including InterPlay in our vocations. Case studies of InterPlay in action and sessions on how InterPlay, which focuses on creativity and accelerates health and healing for many participants, will be presented. No prior experience with InterPlay is necessary only a willingness to participate fully with other professionals seeking greater Joy in their work. Helping Professionals new to InterPlay are encouraged to attend!

Course meets the qualifications for 12 hours of continuing education credit for MFT's and/or LCSW's as required by the California Board of Behaviorial Sciences. CEUs PE 2583

Mary Alice Long, PhD, LiCSW, RN is a Jungian-based psychotherapist, arts-based consultant, healthcare professional, Interplay leader, and writer in private practice since 1993 specializing in dream work, sand play, arts-based therapies, and consultation.

CathyAnn Beaty
CathyAnn Beaty is a dancer, visual artist and InterPlay master teacher. She specializes in using InterPlay with therapists, clergy, and spiritual leaders. She is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and was a parish pastor for 15 years. CathyAnn has been practicing and teaching InterPlay for 20 years.

Kate Amoss
Kate Amoss, LCPC, is a weaver, InterPlay master teacher, and professional counselor in private practice. She has an unshakable faith in the power of the imagination to transform, delight, and liberate. She uses applied InterPlay with clients in groups, workshops, and individually. Together with her husband, Billy, she co-leads the InterPlay Life Practice program in the Washington DC region and is a founding member of “The Big Yes,” an InterPlay performance ensemble.
