InterPlay "Untensive" Retreat in Southern California

InterPlay is an active creative way to unlock the wisdom of your body. At this InterPlay "untensive" you will learn simple, fun ways to find out more about yourself and to experience the transforming power of community. Expect to laugh, relax, connect, play, move and be moved. Learn ways to have more ease in your life in a deeply affirming environment. Folks of all sizes, shapes, colors, and abilities are welcome! In InterPlay, a small amount of willingness is all you need.

This non-residential 3-day retreat over the President’s Day weekend will be led by InterPlay co-founder Phil Porter. It will take place in Simi Valley northwest of Los Angeles, where nearby beaches and breath-taking scenery abound.

Course meets the qualifications for 20 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behaviorial Sciences. CEUs PE 2583
Refunds will be given up to two days before the event, minus a 20.00 processing fee.

Burbank Airport is the closest to Simi Valley. Metrolink train available from the airport to Simi Valley ($6.75). Transportation from the train station will be arranged.

Cost: Tuition is $295 by January 25th/ $345 after that date. Local hotel information available. Close-by eateries for meals. One catered meal will be provided.

Phil is one of the founders of InterPlay. He is a teacher, performer, writer, and organizer. With Cynthia Winton-Henry he is the co-director of WING IT! Performance Ensemble, and has written several books, some in collaboration with Cynthia, including Having It All: Body, Mind, Heart & Spirit Together Again at Last. Phil is particularly interested in the use of InterPlay in organizational life, and believes that InterPlay can be a powerful tool to create communities of diversity and peace.
