How cool is this? The fabulously evolved music of Jai Uttal handed over to Shaman’s Dream/Desert Dweller ace Rara Avis, mix master extraordinaire. What they’ve come up with is a myriad of twists and turns on the original tracks that remain totally in keeping with their original intention. Several of the fusion-inspired chant/mantras are consid­erably upbeat, but that thin line between remixed and overmixed is never crossed.
